This would be the book of Hamlet we just finished reading. There are many versions of Hamlet, but this one I understood more than another one I tried reading. It was first written in the 1600′s. Hamlet is a tragedy by William Shakespeare and one of his most well-known and quoted plays

This is (L-R) King Claudius, Hamlet, and Queen Gertrude. The King-which is really Hamlet’s uncle. The Queen which is Hamlet’s mom, and Hamlet-a very smart scholar. Uncle and mom? Yeah I know-read to find out what actually happened.

This is a good superstition.  Usually people say “I haven’t been in a car accident.” Then someone is like…Knock on wood, but this was a funny one-saying men are hard headed. If you click on the link it will click on the words under the photo.

The saying about rabbit feet-Is luck in general. Luck is superstition, good and bad. People use to sell rabbit feet to people. Little kids wanted them. I used to have a pink one. They are said to  bring good luck to their owners and protect them against evil spirits.

Halloween is considered superstition as well. Full of magic and witchcraft. People used to get really crazy and alot of people wound up killed or injured. Now-a-days it isn’t that bad, and parents check candy and stuff. Halloween wasn’t always about candy and dressing up. It was about celebrating the deceased family members and friends.

I personally don’t believe in superstitions-and yes I do know people who do.

It seems as if this video took place in Japan, but back to the judgment-it could’ve been anywhere. The main girl in this video is not scared to stand up and play. Everyone is treating her so badly, and the man told her…”Why do you have to be like everyone else?” After that her attitude did change.  The antagonist where all the people putting her down. When she was performing it went back to all the hard times that she had. She didn’t let all the hate and evil stop her..It’s like the saying stick and stones may brake my bones, but words will never hurt me.  The climax was when she was playing and right when she finished. The crowd got completely quiet, stood up and clapped. While she is performing she is shaking her hair and it looked so straight and shiny-it turned out to be a Pantene Shampoo commercial. I would of never guessed.

To be a renaissance man you have to be super smart and you have to be a multi-tasker.  You have to be able to You have to be not only book smart, but have common sense. A renaissance man in my book would be my father. My dad is like a hero to me.  He didn’t get to finish high school and he had to basically start from scratch. He is a hard worker-and he is continuously doing something productive. He is actually very smart in arithmetic and science. He always helped me with my homework and projects in these two subjects. He is considered a renaissance man to me.

I honestly thought that this bird was annoying at first-until I finished the youtube video. These birds are smart, they protect themselves and they know how to “Get what they want!” The Lyre-Bird is either two species of an Austalian bird. This bird can act like 20 other different species of birds. There call is a rich mixture of its own song and any number of other sounds it has heard.  The males feathers also can fan out. This is mainly to “impress” the ladies. This is also called the courtship dance. Some of the sounds these birds make are amazing: car alarms, chainsaws, cameras, and they can do artificial and natural sounds. I want one of these birds.

Wow. This assignment was kind of interesting. There are many different races in this world, and it isn’t right to do the census count just by looking at someone. ( Judging) It’s not only rude, it’s wrong. The first time I played the game I got thirteen out of twenty correct. The second time Macy and I did it and got them all correct. I can honestly say I felt a little akward by picking-WHAT GROUP THIS PERSON BELONGS TO? So therefor if I ”feel” wrong doing something most likely it is wrong. I mainly looked at eyes and the skin color, sometimes the hair helped…These photos were deceiving. I really try not to judge people, but sometimes can’t help it. I know now that I will be a little more open with the things I “look” at.

In today’s society women are portrayed by certain images and stereotypes. They feel as if they have to be like “Barbie” and as if they don’t look “fake” then they aren’t pretty. The ideal shape for a man is one where they need broad shoulders and a solid chest and a smaller lower body. They feel like they have to be “ripped.

The “perfect ” spouse would be-Someone who loves you unconditionally, is 100% faithfull, honest, and loving and nurturing to you and your needs. Someone who will be there for you through thick and thin. A perfect spouse is someone who tries to make the realtionship positive.

A perfect job would just have to be a career that you enjoy doing. Alot of people like to do a certain job because it’s alot of money. I bet more that half the people in this world aren’t even happy with there jobs. Money can’t make you happy. You need a career that you don’t have to dread going to every morning.

A perfect Life on the other hand-that could be very contoversial. I think the perfect life would be married with the almost perfect guy and having almost the perfect children. They don’t argue or misbehave. They do as they are told.

There really isn’t an answer to the perfect husband, or perfect life, or perfect job..Everyone is very different! It all depends on the way people have an outlook on things.
